Part of the reason I've been inactive is because of politics interfering in my life in the worst way. I'll try to keep it short but needless to say that it's because of the current political climate here in the US that families like mine are effected in the worse way. Some might recall a few ago I posted about coming out to my family as bisexual and out of my two sets of parents only one person didn't seem that accepting: that one person was my stepfather who, as needs to be mentioned for the sake of this story, is also a Trump supporter. His mood around me changed a lot and everyone was aware. He didn't talk to me as much, didn't ask about my day at work, he barley asked about anything going on with me. And honestly, I didn't really care. I knew he was upset by it but if that was going to be his way about this so be it. I made it clear to my mom too that he could be a sulking bastard for the rest of his life all because I am the way I am. Didn't effect me at all.

Today is June 9th in 2020, and I'm an American citizen who's been watching her nation being divided by hatred and racial inequality; and most of it at the hands of out so-called "President" who's said and done nothing to unify the peoples, regardless of race, creed, political party, profession, etc. His words have only shown people's true colors, revealing the cowards who have been full of hatred and phobia against the others; even revealing some of my "friends" for the people they truly are. For ten years of my life I've discovered I was bisexual and have only made it known to my friends and siblings but not my parents. (I'm a middle child between two houses so technically I have 4 parents) In all those years I kept this secret from them because I was afraid of their acceptance of me.
