Breihzlander sat in his home awaiting one of his closer friends to arrive. He hoped they would arrive soon as the day was so nice out, as it tended to be in Griffon City, and he made plans to go the beach for the day. Hopefully after his business with his friend was done they would probably want to join him.
Sitting in his living room Breihz was wearing just his usual green shirt and pants, sipping down a soda while watching T.V. about the weather being so nice. Now he felt like fate was being unfair to him in mocking how nice of a day it was. He kept looking at the clock and mentally arguing what could be taking his friend so long.
After what felt like hours upon hours of waiting the doorbell finally rang, Breihz jumping to his feet to answer. When he opened the door sure enough his friend had arrived, dressed in his usual feminine attire. A short skirt, knee-high boots, a nice blue top with bouncing bulges that could only be balloons or cushions of some sort, and a fashionable sash around his neck.
Innocently Jamie Torrence waved “Hi, Breihz. Sorry I’m late. I had to take a bus because my car doesn’t work. And I think it might because, well, I might have forgot to fill it with gas last time I took it out.” he bashfully admitted.
Breihz rolled his eyes and said “It’s fine. Just come on and let’s get this done. I’m planning to go to the beach.”
As soon as he mentioned it Jamie perked up, both of them asking at the same time “Can I co-?” “Do you wan-?”
They stopped themselves and laughed before Jamie, being the one to speak first, answered “I’d love to. Although I don’t have a swimsuit.”
“Don’t worry. I have a few to spare. And I don’t just mean trunks.” Seeing Jamie light up Breihz added “Don’t worry, Jamie. I know what you like.”
“Aw. Such a good friend.” He said before hugging him.
After the brief exchange Breihz led Jamie upstairs to one of many rooms in his large mansion house. It was for all intents and purposes a guestroom/fitting room. Often Breihz would need to use it for when he got new suits or the like, given it had the closet space and had a body-sized mirror and all. But after Jamie’s introduction into his life and his want for extravagant costumes most of that space was now claimed; not that Breihz minded that much.
Once in the room Breihz pointed out a stack of several large boxes, unopened and awaiting Jamie. His eyes lit up when he knew what they were, running over and practically ripping them open to see that indeed they each contained more costumes for his growing wardrobe. He asked Breihz’s permission, which the golden retriever replied he didn’t even have to ask, before hurrying with the boxes behind a changing divider in the room. Breihz simply took a seat on the bed and waited.
As he sat there Breihz thought aloud “So I haven’t seen you since the party, Jamie. Remember?”
“Oh yeah.” Jamie called from his side of the room. “That was so much fun. I was late for that though too, wasn’t I? Kurfust and that other guy were having some sort of contest from what I found out. Now I feel really bad I missed it.”
“Yeah. Finn.” He answered. “He was nice, right?”
“He was. Cute too.” Jamie poked his head out for a moment and commented “You know I had no idea he was a model until AFTER he’d left. Isn’t that funny? I was with a celebrity and it wasn’t comic-con and I totally spaced. Hehehe!”
Breihz smirked at Jamie’s little ramble before saying “Yeah. Well to be fair maybe I should have mentioned I was friends with a famous model. Though to be fair I wasn’t sure if you even knew who he was.”
At this point Jamie had finally stepped out wearing one of his new outfits. The costume was from the movie The Incredibles, though given the figuring of it against his feminine physic it was either for Mrs. Incredible or Violet. It even came with the domino mask for the eyes which he had on as well, wanting to admire the entire ensemble.
As he stepped out and checked himself out in the full body mirror near where Breihz sat he said “Well to be fair I didn’t know right away. Not that often you think about models as celebrities. Not unless they’ve been in movies.” He stopped and gasped before asking “Does he know any movie stars?”
Scratching his head he answered with a shrug of “Not really sure.”
“Oh well.” Jamie waved it off. “Always the next con.” After taking another look he turned and asked “How’s this look?”
“Fine. Good. I mean-You know.” Breihz replied, trying not to say anything sensitive and nothing that would sound like flirting.
While Breihz had to admit Jamie was cute he was still a boy no matter how much he dressed like a girl. His scent alone was enough to que anyone into the fact. Thinking on that however made him think back to how Finn reacted to him, stunned to silence and unable to think. It made him question if he really did know or not; especially since he’d not seen or heard from him since that day.
When Jamie went back behind the divider Breihz then asked “So Finn, I, uh, think he might like you, Jamie.”
“Well what’s not to like, right?” He poked his head out and asked “Wait. Does someone else not like me? It’s not you is it, Breihz?”
He quickly said “No! No! I mean I think he LIKES you.”
As it became clearer to Jamie he blushed an “Oooo. Really?”
“Well remember the way he looked at you back at the party? He could barely say anything.”
Jamie slipped back behind the divider and replied “You think that’s why? I thought he was sick. Or maybe just never met someone like me before.” He then added a coy “Well maybe not as cute as me if that’s the case. Hehehehe.”
When that came to mind Breihz smirked “So you think it’s just the looks? You don’t think it’s…something else? Something he might not know about you? You know, something….that could change the way he thinks about you.”
“Not that I can think of.” Jamie answered. “I mean we only met once. And he seems like a nice guy. I don’t think he’s the type of jerk to beat people up. At least none of your friends would be. So I think he’s fine.”
It seemed clearer that Jamie wasn’t aware of what Breihz was implying. Clearly Jamie didn’t know that Finn wasn’t aware about him being a boy either. Two minds with an absence of what was right in front of them. Breihz couldn’t help but start to conjure an idea in his head as Jamie came out yet again dressed in girl clothes.
This time he came out dressed in a Sailor Mercury costume, straight from the Sailor Moon franchise of course. The blue coloring seemed to complement his soft, red fur. It even came with a wig which Jamie wore for the whole ensemble. He fidgeted with the skirt before seeing how it all worked, even to wearing the knee-high, high heel boots.
Given how he looked more convince as a girl yet again Breihz nodded to himself before saying “You might be right, Jamie. Maybe there’s just something different about you he’s attracted to. Maybe it is the looks. Or something else. Who knows? But he seems a nice enough guy so, maybe, next time you see him you should ask him out.”
“You think so?” Jamie turned and asked, a little blushing at the idea. “Oh my goodness. I haven’t had a date since…well…not ever actually. I mean there was the few times I experimented with…” He stopped and blushed more before saying “Hehehe. Maybe I’ll talk about that later.” He hurried back behind the divider and called “Just one more outfit before we head for the beach, okay?”
“Fine with me.” He called back, texting Finn about how he and Jamie would be at the beach later today with a devious grin. “Fine with me.”
It had taken a little over an hour before the two arrived at the beach. Both had changed and taken one of Breihz’s cars all the way from the house to the beach, managing to beat traffic and get there in time before the big rush of people could come to claim the better spots.
Breihzlander had changed to a loose collar shirt and his usual green trunks; as well as sandals on his feet as did Jamie. Jamie himself had been given a one-piece swimsuit which was bright green; as well as being allowed to have his stuffed bra underneath to keep the feminine illusion. Along with it he brought a bathing robe and a sun hat, as well as carrying the bag with the towels, drinks, suntan lotion and so forth. Given how oddly tight the swimsuit was however it made some of Jamie’s movements a little more difficult.
After finding a nice spot and setting up Jamie had to ask “Breihz, are you sure there weren’t any other better suits? This one is a little tight in spots.” He fixed the area around his butt before adding “I might as well have gone with a string bikini. Or even just going nude at this point.”
Breihz was quiet as he watched Jamie drop his robe nearby. The suit clung to his body so tightly that everything showed, especially the bulge where hit crotch was. Even if that were not enough to convince Finn of Jamie’s true gender then his statement, which he planned to slip once he arrived, would have to be.
“I think it’s fine, Jamie.” He said, acting innocent. “You just need to get used to it is all. After all it IS a new suit. Hasn’t even been warn yet.”
Jamie shrugged an “I guess so.” before declaring “Well I’m not wasting time. Heading for the water. Okay?”
Briehz nodded “Sure thing.” Before he walked off he added “Just don’t be too long. Know knows, we might run into some of our friends here.” Jamie nodded and still ran for the water while Breihz grinned “Any second now.”
And as he counted those seconds they turned into minutes. The minutes soon turned into over an hour of waiting and still no sign of Finn. Breihz felt his neck getting sore from looking back and forth up and down the beach for any sign of him. He tried texting him several times but had no response. It was starting to get annoying and while he was his friend he felt like he was going to burst the minute Finn showed up. And during all that time Jamie seemed to be having the time of his life, swimming in the water, playing with a group of others in a game of chicken and catch, and even getting a few flirtatious looks from guys who obviously couldn’t see the glaring clue under the water.
All the sitting and waiting around made Breihz a little drowsy. He’d not had much sleep and he’d gotten so excited about Jamie and Finn meeting again a lot of energy had been exhausted into what felt like nothing now. He sat down on the towel and slowly felt himself slipping further and further into a long, nice nap.
Jamie eventually returned from his swim only to find the golden retriever peacefully asleep. He leaned down and poked his shoulder, seeing he didn’t wake. The young cat retrieved his robe before getting a clever little idea.
After a few minutes Jamie already had Brehizlander’s body buried in the sand. Only his head and feet poked out from either side but he was clearly trapped underneath. He giggled and tried to contain himself from laughing aloud before he finished.
As he did someone called “Hello there.” Jamie turning to see it was Finn.
The young husky dog was wearing a loose shirt much like Breihz only he was sporting his usual black speedo underneath. Sandals on his feet and glasses over his eyes he tried to be casual as he approached despite his tail wagging ferociously.
Jamie stood and waved “Hi, Finn.” Which seemed to wake Breihz from his sleep.
As he yawned and realized Finn was approaching he tried to speak before realizing he was buried and called out “Hey! What the heck is this?” He struggled before realizing too much sand pinned him down before saying “Jamie dig me out. C’mon, Jamie. I mean it. And wait, Finn? Where have you been?”
“Well I was on my way over when someone’s car ran out of gas while I was driving. This nice cat woman. So I syphoned some of my gas to help her out but then I didn’t realize I used almost all of mine. So she was nice enough to drive me to a station where we got some for a container. And then we got some snacks and drinks and started talking and we sort of lost track of time.”
For Briehz he realized this was all Jamie’s fault, given the story of why he was late, but Jamie only responded with “Wow. That’s so crazy. Sometimes you just wind up in the weirdest of situations.”
He groaned and insisted “Just get me out already, Jamie! I didn’t want to be buried like a treasure chest or something!”
As Jamie could tell Breihz was annoyed he suddenly heard Finn laughing “Hahaha! Looking good, man. Like a hot dog made out of a sand bun.”
This seemed to make Jamie get into more of the enjoyable mood as he laughed along with him. As they pointed and continued to laugh at the whole “sand dog” thing Breihz only continued to look annoyed as they were having more fun than him.
“Yeah, real funny.” He rolled his eyes. “Now let me out. Finn, I’ve got something important to-”
Finn suddenly cut him off by asking “Hey, Jamie, want to know how to really take advantage of him while he’s stuck like this?”
Jamie bounced at the idea before Finn bent down and began to tickle at Breihz’s feet. The retriever could do nothing but struggle as he laughed aloud and rocked his head back and forth. He was giving a pleading giggle for him to stop that went unanswered.
While that happened Jamie said “Hang on. Always wanted to try this.” He walked up to Breihz’s head and began playing around with his ears. In a mockingly comical voice Jamie said “Look at me! I’m Mr. Floppy ears. I have so much money I can use it for toilet paper. And I think Jamie is the most beautiful person in the whole world.” He then grabbed hold of his nose and lower jaw while forcing his mouth open and saying in the same voice “Jamie is the best and no one else has as awesome a wardrobe or as awesome as a fashion style.”
Even Finn laughed at this before saying “Hey, you actually do a good impression.”
When they stopped Breihz caught his breath while trying to say “Finn, listen. There’s something important I need to-”
Finn stopped him by shushing him and saying “Breihz, please. Me and Jamie need to talk. It’s sort of urgent.”
He reached into the bag before using a cloth as a gag, Breihz barley managing to finish “Finn, wait! Jamie’s-GGMMPPH!”
Now with Breihzlander gagged Finn said “There.” Before turning to Jamie and asking “Can we, uh, talk over here for a second?” he pointed off to the side. Jamie nodded before going a little ways off, trying to be out of Breihz’s earshot. “So, uh, Jamie. I really didn’t the chance to talk with you last time.”
“It’s okay.” Jamie nodded. “I mean if I’d know who you were I might have been nervous too.” Bashfully he admitted “Never got to meet a celebrity before. At least not at a party.”
Finn bashfully replied “Well I mean I’m not that famous. Not really.”
“Are you kidding? I’ve seen your face on billboards for crying out loud of course you are. Oh, speaking of which, you wouldn’t happen to know any movie stars would you? Like people who’ve played superheroes?”
Seeing the look of joy in Jamie’s eyes he chuckled “Well not too well. I mean I met a few here-and-there.” After that he changed the subject to “Speaking of superheroes, I heard you had a thing for dressing up and cosplaying and all. Right?”
He blushed and asked “Oh, where’d you here that?”
“Little birdy told me.” Finn lied, not wanting to tell how he ‘tortured’ Kurfust for the information. “But I was thinking, since you’re into that, maybe I could have some of my designers help with some costumes. They do all sorts of new and interesting stuff for me.”
Jamie’s eyes lit up before he said “You’d really do that? I mean I’ve just been ordering most of mine online. And even then they’re either too small, too tight, or the material gives me a rash.”
Finn quickly said “Hang on now. Just because I’m offering doesn’t mean it’s free.”
“Oh! No, I understand. I’m used to paying a lot for them anyways. How much would it cost?”
“Not that much. Maybe lunch. A few drinks if you’re up for it. Maybe a movie afterwards?”
At first Jamie didn’t realize until actually thinking on what Finn had said. He looked surprised as the husky gave a small smile and shrug, showing he didn’t have any better way of saying what he was offering.
As Jamie put it together he tried to ask “Is that….? Are you….?” Before finally managing “Does that mean it’s…a date?”
“Hopefully.” He shrugged. “That is if you say ‘yes’.”
So taken back by it Jamie blushed and could barely speak before finally answering “Y-yes. I mean, of course. I’d love to. So, uh, Saturday?”
“Saturday sounds perfect.” Finn smiled.
“Great.” Jamie then reached into his bag, grabbing his phone, before saying “Uh, just give me a minute. I need to let my mom know.”
Finn nodded and allowed him to walk off. As Jamie did he kept looking back, smiling all the more that such an attractive boy like him was asking a meek little cat like him on a date. Finn maintained a cool posture until Jamie fully turned, he giving a deep breath before silently congratulating himself for managing to get it out.
During the entire time Briehzlander had heard everything. He so-called silly, floppy ears had managed to pick up on the two’s conversation. However the more he heard the more he felt bad for trying to spoil what seemed to be a genuine happy connection between the two. And here he was about to try and ruin it by revealing Jamie being a boy. As much as he knew Finn needed to know he didn’t want to make him upset when he seemed so happy about all of it.
Before he knew it Finn returned, taking the gag out from his mouth, before he’d asked “So, Brieh, my buddy, what were you trying to say about Jamie?”
The young retriever hesitated before sighing “Just….be careful. Jamie’s…a bit of an expensive taste kind of person. You know, likes to be treated like royalty and all.”
Finn chuckled before replying “Don’t worry. I think I can manage. But thanks for looking out for me, buddy.”
Briehz only nodded while deciding to keep the big secret to himself. It pained him a little as the truth would come out sooner or later but he didn’t want to be the one to ruin what seemed like the start of a happy relation.
Jamie returned and said “Okay. Everything’s set. So I, uh, guess I’ll see you in a few days. Okay?”
“Okay.” He winked before saying “I’d better get going. But I had a great time. Hope to have another one.” He called as he kept walking off “Saturday. 7 o’clock.”
“7 on the button.” Jamie called back with a giggle. Once Finn was gone Jamie sighed and added “Wow. Such a great guy.”
Seeing as Jamie walked off with a smile on his face Breihz couldn’t help but smile at the scene. If one person deserved to be this happy it was Jamie. Now Breihz could certainly not do anything about the truth coming out. He just hoped when it did things wouldn’t be awkward or sour between them. Hopefully he would…
Wait…. Finn was gone and Jamie was walking away….
“HEY!” Breihzlander called “I’M STILL BURRIED! GET ME OUT!”
